We will be learning about the arctic and the desert and we will compare and contrast the different environments. We will be designing a waterproof outfit for our teddies and testing different materials for this. We will also be learning about the artist Ted Harrison and creating art in the style of his work. All of this learning will be supported by lots of trips including, Pizza Express and Duppas Park and more to be confirmed! I am very excited about the term ahead!
Welcome to Spring term in Swans! Our context this term continues to be ‘Water World” where we will be learning about solids and liquids through fun and exciting science experiments! We have really enjoyed designing and stitching the sails. In Literacy, we have been studying the picture book “Winter`s Child” by Angela McAllister about a boy who wished Winter could go on forever! Our next trip will be at Archbishop School where Swans will be involved in competitive sports with other schools.
