Key School Information

Current, temporary drop off and pick up times due to COVID

Drop off time for all children is currently as follows;

Key stage 2 and Swans class 8:40-8:50 - Collection 3:05pm

Key Stage 1 Kingfishers class , reception and nursery 8:45-8:55 - Collection 3:15pm


6 allocated gates around the school site. 

Nursery – their usual entrance in Violet Lane
Reception – entrance will be via the Children’s Centre gate in Violet Lane
Year 1 – entrance will be via the dining hall entrance in the school car park
Year 2 – their usual small gate leading to KS1
Years 3 and 4 – Violet Lane entrance, opposite the Doctor’s surgery
Years 5 and 6 – Key Stage 2 gate
SLCN – back gate in Violet Lane



Reception and KS1 - pick up time is 3.05


KS2  - pick up time is 3.15 


Please ensure you queue along the fence and social distance for the safety of the whole school community.

Our School Day


Our school day for KS1 starts at 8.50am and finished at 3.05.  KS2 children start at 8.45am and end at 3.15pm.   Our dedicated Breakfast and After School Club teams provide wraparound care that  begins at 7.45am and finished at 6.30pm.  Please follow the link at the bottom of this page to find out more.


There are four different nursery sessions:


Monday - Friday Mornings     8.45 - 11.45

Monday - Friday Afternoons  12.15 - 3.15

Monday and Tuesday full days (8.45 - 3.15) and Wednesday morning (8.45 - 11.45)

Thursday and Friday full days (8.45 - 3.15) and Wednesday afternoon (12.15 - 3.15)


Nursery children staying for whole days bring in their own packed lunches.


Lunch Arrangements, Milk and Fruit


Reception and Key Stage 1


Reception and KS1 children all have free, cooked school dinner.  All allergies can be catered for. 


All children in Reception and Key Stage 1 can  have free fruit in the morning and milk. 


Key Stage 2


In Key Stage 2 children can have a cooked school dinner or they can bring a packed lunch from home. Menus are available to view in advance on-line. Children get the chance to see the week's menus outside the dinner hall. Payment for school dinners in through ParentPay, please see the link below. If parents would like their child to have milk, they can order and pay through ParentPay.


Children who are eligible for free school meals also receive free milk.  If you think you may be eligible, please see the office to apply.
