As the Community Cohesion Team, our aim is to improve relationships between the school and the wider school community. This is driven by the understanding that the success of the school is dependent on all in the community. Also, the success of the community is dependent on the success of the school. We are cognizant of the fact that good relationships between the school and the wider community is advantageous to our children enjoying the best possible experience they can get at this stage of their development and growth. Our team is committed to providing an environment where the learning experience is based on fun and fulfilment.

Our Community Cohesion Team is run by:

Mr Courtney Lawrence, Mrs Anna Putnam, Mrs Karen Barnes, Miss Rachel Batt and Mrs Yousuf. We have a fantastic group of staff and parents who join together to run community events that create opportunities for the children and families to get together and have fun, as well as raising funds for charity and for the school. Our proud success has been the building of our community cafe, that provides a place for parents to sit and chat after dropping off in the morning whilst enjoying breakfast and a hot drink. We also sell refreshments and hot food after school and during community events.
