Kingfishers and Swans Autumn Context
Kingfishers context for the Autumn term is It's a Wonderful Life.
We will be learning all about our bodies, our senses and how to keep ourselves fit and healthy.
We will discuss what makes us individual and special.
We will also be learning names of trees and exploring autumn art .
As always we have planned some exciting trips such as Kidspace, Sutton Ecology centre and Croydon library!
In Swans we have an exciting term ahead filled with lots of fun learning. This starts with a trip to Sea Life Centre where the children will experience an aquatic adventure!
Later in the term, we will then be visiting the National Art Gallery to study different paintings and take part in an art workshop. In Science, we will be learning about solid, liquids and gases by conducting fun and engaging experiments.
In Art, we will be developing our sketching skills
where the final art piece will be a Viking long boat.
In Music we will be starting to learn how to play the xylophone.

Kingfishers went on a Spring walk in Beddington Park!
Pirate day! Kingfishers had so much fun completing a treasure hunt at Hackbridge pirate ship to celebrate our pirate day. We completed lots of fun pirate themed activities throughout the day!
Kingfishers and Swans had a great time visiting the theatre to see The Wizard of Oz. We had great seats right near the front!
Kingfishers had a great day at Grove park feeding the ducks and spotting wildlife :)
