Kingfishers and Swans Spring Context
Kingfishers context for the Spring term is 'Opposites Attract'.
We will be learning all about polar and desert climates and animals, we even have our very own Arctic corner in our classroom!
We will be looking at hot and cold colours and create a piece of artwork in the style of Ted Harrison.
We will be looking at different types of weather and making a kite to fly on a windy day.
We will be visiting Croydon library and Wing Yip to celebrate Chinese new year. An exciting term ahead!
In Swans we have another exciting term ahead filled with lots of fun learning. This starts with a Tudor workshop where we will take part in a Tudor dance.
In Science, we will be learning more about solids, liquids and gases and participate in fun and engaging experiments.
In Art, we will be developing our water colour techniques
where the final art piece will be a replica of a turner painting.
