Year 4 - Kookaburras and Bluebirds
Meet the Year 4 Teachers!
Spring Term - 'Water World'
Why was Henry VIII so fat?
In the Spring term, we will be looking at the Tudors and studying what life was like in that era. Students will be researching different Tudor monarchs including Henry VIII, looking at different explorers such as Francis Drake and exploring the beginning of the British Empire. They will be creating Tudor portraits and designing models of buildings from the Tudor era. Students will visit Hampton Court to further their learning and learn about the history of the building in relation to the Tudor and Stuart dynasty.
Throughout the term we will be focusing on decimals, time and money. Students must continue to practice their times tables so they can know all of them up to 12 by the end of the year.
PE is on Wednesdays and Fridays. Please have children wear their kit in on Wednesdays and bring it in a bag on Fridays.
