It is with great reluctance that we have had to close the centre for the foreseeable future in the light of the Coronavirus and government guidance on how best to protect everyone.

EPEC (Empowering Parents Empowering Communities) are running the following 9-Week online courses from May 2020. 

Being A Parent - For parents with a child aged 2-11 years. 

Baby and Us - For parents with a baby under 1 year

Please note these courses take place via Microsoft Teams for 1 hour each week. 

The courses help parents

Learn practical skills for everyday life

To look after yourself as a parent

Recognise and manage your children's emotions 

Learn positive parenting strategies

Support your child/ren's resilience

Help is available for you at the FJC. The centre can provide you and your family with support and a safety plan. Their aim is to listen and respond to your needs in a safe way.

ChatHealth is a confidential texting service for parents and carers, giving advice and support with children’s physical and emotional health such as sleeping, safety, toilet training, introducing solids and more..

CHILDREN'S ART WORK

The children's Centre will keep your child's named artwork for 2 weeks during term time and 3 weeks during half terms.  Please be aware that after this time the artwork will be recycled.

Please ensure your child's name and the date is clearly written on all artwork.
