Early Learning Goals - Where the children should be by the end of Reception

The children are getting very competitive and working really hard to learn their Rainbow Words.  Look in your child's yellow reading record to find their words.

After Rainbow Readers comes...ROCKET READERS - Good luck

Picture 1

In the Early Years the learning that the children do is basing on the their personal interests and needs to ensure every child is challenged.

This half term we have been reading bear books. We have been looking at the books; We are going on a bear hunt, Brown Bear Brown Bear, Peace at Last, Whatever Next and Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The children have also brought in their own bears and have been teaching them everything that they have already learnt.

The children have enjoyed cooking porridge and making balance scale cakes.

We access the outdoor area in all weathers. Look at us in our Rainsuits and wellies.
